Position Description: The Sales Assistant is responsible for the daily operation of a New Home Sales Center and community, and will be a support for the division New Home Consultants. The Sales Assistant works in tandem with the New Home Consultants to provide sales center coverage as well as to observe and learn valuable sales skills from the team. The goal of this positions is to learn applicable skills that will transfer to career progression as a New Home Consultant.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in a professional business or customer service role.
  • Extreme attention to detail, time management, and multi-tasking skills are a necessity to be successful in this role.
  • Proficient computer knowledge/skills (i.e., MS Office Suite such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s Degree in Business or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Engage visitors, establishing a relationship and touring model and inventory homes as needed with prospective buyers.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of the competitive marketplace, including product, site, local community, sales, advertising and demographics.
  • Accompany visitors through the models, and inventory homes answering questions (allowed under GREC compliance if unlicensed) and providing information about the community and discussing features and benefits of the home.
  • Document all communications with customers in company CRM system & communicate with New Home Consultants & Sales Leader on prospective customers the Sales Assistant has engaged. Participate in all sales meetings & sales trainings provided. Consistently reviewing neighborhood status and sales strategies.
  • Monitor and record daily customer traffic utilizing company designated CRM tracking tools.
  • Periodically gather data and prepare reports for management review.
  • Responsible for maintaining the condition of the model home and inventory homes.
  • Observe the homeowner meetings and orientation(s) required by the Division.
  • Required to cross-train on other communities within the division as needed.
  • Required to use CRM software.
  • Must be available on weekends.
