About The Position

Launch your sales career at a global technology leader powering the future of payments. As a Sales Development Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting real sales initiatives while learning directly from experienced sales professionals across Visa’s Digital and Enterprise Sales teams. Throughout the summer, you’ll build foundational sales skills, deepen your understanding of Visa’s products and clients, and contribute to meaningful work that drives pipeline growth and customer engagement. You’ll receive structured support, training, mentorship, and feedback to help you grow professionally and make an impact. In addition to your day-to-day responsibilities, you’ll participate in learning sessions, networking events, and exposure opportunities that provide insight into Visa’s sales organization and how we operate at global scale. At the end of the internship, you’ll have the opportunity to present your work and learnings to sales leaders. Summer Interns are considered for full-time opportunities based on their internship performance with highly successful interns receiving full-time offers to join Visa’s two-year Sales Development Program (SDP). The SDP is a structured rotational program designed to build world-class sales capabilities through formal training, hands-on experience, and long-term career pathways across Sales, Product, and Account Management. Requirements

  • Strong interest in sales, technology, payments, or financial services
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Willingness to learn, seek feedback, and continuously improve
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working on diverse teams
  • Openness to exploring future roles across Sales, Product, or Account Management
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree graduating in December 2026 – August 2027
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; adept at presenting ideas clearly and collaborating in teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Pursuing a degree in Sales, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, International Business, Management, Data Analytics, Economics, Information System
  • Excellent analytical abilities and proficiency in data analysis tools and software (For example: Excel, Tableau, SQL, etc.)
  • Strong communications skills, specifically, the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors, clear and concise written and spoken communications, and communications that demonstrate professional judgment.
  • Familiarity, experience, and interest in GenAI
