Role We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our Federal Sales Development team. This is a hybrid role, reporting to the Manager of Sales Development. You will have the opportunity to be a key contributor to Zscaler’s sales pipeline and revenue growth through lead qualification. This is a hybrid onsite role that requires 2 days a week in the office (Plano, TX/Raleigh, NC/or Boston, MA).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  • Customer-oriented background (sales, support, or customer service)
  • Skills in account development, opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call structure/control, or time and territory management

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CRM systems (preferably salesforce.com)
  • Experience in an outbound-focused sales position
  • Experience working with Federal customers or a background in the Federal space

Responsibilities

  • Researching and prospecting into organizations by emailing, calling, networking and other creative means to lead early stage pipelines
  • Qualifying and scheduling well qualified appointments with main decision makers within global 2000 or "targeted" companies through inbound and outbound leads
  • Utilizing the CRM to maintain accurate activity, contact, and account information of all customers and prospects
