About The Position

AV is seeking a dynamic and technically skilled RF CUAS Sales Engineer to support our RF CUAS solutions across the globe. As a key member of our Product Success team, you’ll bridge the gap between engineering and business development — enabling customers to understand, adopt, and succeed with AV’s advanced technologies. You will lead product demonstrations, provide hands-on training, assist in solution design, and support both pre-sales and post-sales activities. Your ability to build lasting customer relationships, communicate technical value, and ensure mission readiness makes you a vital contributor to AV’s success. This role requires a unique mix of field experience, customer-facing presence, and sales-minded strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience required.
  • Demonstrated success in a Sales Engineering, Field Application Engineer, or Presales role.
  • Comfortable working directly with DoW, government, or defense industry customers in live and high-stakes environments.
  • U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%, both domestically and internationally, often with short notice.
  • ITAR U.S. Citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Active or ability to obtain U.S. Department of War Secret clearance (Top Secret preferred).
  • Prior military experience in RF or CUAS/UAS highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — capable of simplifying complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Strong skills in computer hardware/software, networking, and electronics.
  • Ability to operate independently and confidently in high-pressure or fast-moving situations.
  • Strong analytical, time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales and business development teams to deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective and current customers.
  • Act as the technical voice of the customer — understanding operational needs, translating requirements, and shaping AV solutions accordingly.
  • Conduct on-site and virtual training sessions for customers and partners to ensure successful deployment and adoption.
  • Provide field support and technical consultation during pilots, evaluations, and integrations across ground, maritime, and airborne platforms.
  • Maintain and improve training and demo environments; prepare and customize materials for specific customer use cases.
  • Troubleshoot product issues, manage technical escalations, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales and deployment lifecycle.
  • Support international and domestic travel to customer sites, including high-risk or austere environments.
  • Document customer feedback and collaborate with engineering and product teams to influence product enhancements and roadmap planning.
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders and technical decision-makers.
