About The Position

The Sales Operations Specialist – Renewals is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of customer subscription renewals, including OEM-provided services, third-party subscriptions, and INS-managed service contracts. This role ensures timely renewals, accurate documentation, and seamless coordination across teams to support revenue continuity and customer retention. The position operates under the Business Operations department and plays a key role in driving subscription efficiency and renewal strategy execution.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or a related field
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in sales operations, subscription management, contract management, or customer success
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, NetSuite)
  • Experience with quoting tools and intermediate Excel skills
  • Interpersonal and Organizational Skills: Strong communication and coordination abilities across teams and with external partners
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through on renewals and documentation
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening

  • Experience handling renewals for SaaS and managed service contracts
  • Knowledge of telecommunications or technology subscription services
  • Understanding of revenue recognition for recurring service contracts

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end renewal processes for customer subscription services and managed service contracts
  • Generate and process renewal quotes, agreements, and related documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of all renewal opportunities, timelines, and contract terms
  • Partner with Account Managers and Inside Sales to ensure proactive customer outreach and renewal engagement
  • Coordinate with Finance, Service Delivery, and external partners to validate subscription and contract details
  • Monitor the renewal pipeline and provide regular reporting and forecasting to the Sales and Business Operations teams
  • Identify potential renewal risks and work with stakeholders to implement mitigation strategies
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of renewal workflows and operational procedures
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to renewal terms, pricing, and contract conditions
