Vicon Motion Systems, Inc. has an immediate opening for an ambitious and team-oriented person as a Sales Success Associate to support the Sales, Support and Customer Success teams through the sales process with a focus on customer advocacy. This position will fundamentally assist Sales in opportunity assessment, quoting, and conversion process while upholding customer success initiative throughout. This position will report to the Director of Sales and work alongside the Support and Customer Success Managers.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in human sciences, biomechanics, or related technical field
  • Strong written and oral communication and problem-solving skills
  • Confident and able to communicate professionally with and at all hierarchical levels
  • Self-motivated and resourceful in finding solutions by working with others
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks working alone or within a team
  • Experience with Microsoft office applications

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years’ experience in technical sales, support or customer success
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Hubspot, motion capture software
  • Customer relationship management (CRM) system experience

Responsibilities

  • Owning fundamental components of the sales process from Sales Qualified Lead (SQL), all the way through post-sales and customer success.
  • Sales – Assisting Sales team (BDM & SDR) throughout pre-sales process:
  • Order input, Quote generation in CRM
  • Generating and collating reports for sales director
  • Creating opportunities in Salesforce and general order input
  • Front line communication for incoming requests
  • Handle outbound phone calls to prospect and customer SQLs
  • Support – Developing an intimate understanding of our systems and solutions to assist sales:
  • Working with the Sales, Enablement & Support teams in the design of system layouts
  • Assist in system testing for the purposes of demonstration & exhibitions
  • Monitor support cases for sales-related responses
  • To a lesser extent: Monitoring case queue, first response for end user account confirmation, managing shared support equipment, maintaining clean demo space, software license administration
  • Customer Success – Maintaining proactive communication with customers, particularly post-sale through multi-department resourcing and automation
  • Client Advocacy – Day to day service of client and company needs
  • Maintaining proactive communication with customers post-sale through multi-department resourcing and automation.
  • Execution of customer Onboarding and continuity
  • Data analysis across Support cases to improve customer experience and retention
  • Direct account management where necessary to resolve customer issues
