Our Information Technology team is looking for a Salesforce.com System Administrator who is passionate about applying their skills to assist our users get the most out of the platform. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of the foundational principles and architecture that are essential to driving a successful Salesforce instance. The right candidate will be energized by working directly with our user community to provide guidance and support relating to multiple key processes at Sensient. In this individual contributor role, you will have ownership of all critical Salesforce.com processes that are key to Sensient’s success. You will work alongside a globally diverse group of IT professionals from many teams, vendor partners, business leaders, and product owners to achieve the highest level of service and support on the platform.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years as a Salesforce Administrator with strong knowledge of core platform functionality, security, best practices, and data modeling
  • Hands-on experience building Flows, advanced formulas, and managing data with tools like DemandTools
  • Solid understanding of data structures and relationships
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business users
  • Strong collaboration, leadership, and stakeholder management skills in team-oriented environments
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities; self-starter who can drive initiatives end-to-end

Responsibilities

  • Own all user support via ServiceNow, including troubleshooting, user management, and technical issue resolution
  • Deliver virtual training and documentation to build Salesforce skills across the organization
  • Analyze business and technical processes, recommending and implementing efficiency improvements
  • Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders on configurations, integrations, reporting, and project status
  • Maintain Salesforce architecture and data integrity (roles, profiles, security, flows, validation rules, imports/exports)
  • Partner with the Salesforce Application Delivery Manager on continuous improvement roadmaps and enhancement backlogs
  • Support third-party integrations and stay current on Salesforce features to drive ongoing optimization
