About The Position
Salon Piano Series (SPS) seeks a reliable and detail-oriented Reception preparation manager to support the remaining concerts of our 2025–2026 season. The reception manager assists Salon Piano Series (SPS) with the preparation, execution, and clean-up of the SPS reception, ensuring a welcoming and well-organized environment for guests and performers. Food preparation experience is a must. Schedule & Commitment Saturday, January 17, 2026 · 7:30 PM Saturday, February 28, 2026 · 7:30 PM Sunday, March 1, 2026 · 3:00 PM Saturday, April 18, 2026 · 7:30 PM Saturday, May 9, 2026 · 7:30 PM Sunday, May 10, 2026 · 2:00 PM Availability required for the dates listed above, including arrival 3-4 hours before curtain and remaining through post-concert wrap-up
Requirements
- Food preperation experience
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work collaboratively with SPS staff

Responsibilities
- Prepare tables and arrange table settings as directed by SPS
- Assemble and prepare platters of purchased food items, including meats, cheeses, and fruits
- Pour wine and assist with beverage service as directed by SPS
- Complete thorough clean-up of the event venue following the event
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by SPS
