About The Position

Innovation and movement toward a cleaner, less carbon-intensive world accelerates SNF’s growth. The Sample Room Coordinator reports to the Sample Room Supervisor. The daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing Sample Room Inventory, fulfilling Sample Requests, and coordinating sample shipments. The Sample Room Coordinator interfaces with various departments to ensure product sample requests are handled efficiently and completed in the safest, most accurate, and timely manner while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and OSHA Hazard Communication Standards. This is a day shift position with occasional overtime. Training will be provided.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • 1-2 years of laboratory and/or chemical handling experience or relevant coursework is desired.
  • Ability to become IATA (International Air Transport Association) Hazardous Goods certified within the first year.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and possess proven verbal and written communications skills.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office software applications, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Must have good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Ability to listen well, solve problems, seek input/feedback, evaluate situations and options, and present/implement solutions.
  • Capable of lifting up to 55 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Work and communicate effectively with the Sample Room Supervisor and other team members in a respectful and professional manner.
  • Learn and maintain knowledge of SNF products, including basic characteristics and handling procedures.
  • Ability to work within the Sample Request, Labeling, and FedEx systems.
  • Prepare and package samples for shipment according to all regulatory and OSHA Hazard Communication Standards.
  • Interface with Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Production Planning, Quality Assurance Lab, and Regulatory Affairs departments.
  • Assist with Sample Room inventory control, records management, ordering/organizing supplies, restocking activities, sample disposal, and general housekeeping.
