About The Position

This position is responsible for the application of paint products in accordance with customer specification and requirements. This position is responsible for cleaning, preparing and coating products. As well as operating heavy equipment to move product around and perform abrasive blasting indoor/outdoor or confined spaces. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Sandblasting parts to remove dirt, paint, grease and other built-up material from surfaces. Clean, prepare and apply paint or coating in accordance with customer and QMBS specifications/requirements. Follow and understand standard work, training guides, procedures and criteria to meet customer requirements Cleans and maintains work areas, tools and equipment at the end of each shift, maintains a safe, organized shop environment Comply with all safety policies, codes and regulations to protect the safety and health of all employees. Other job duties, as assigned by management Required Skills Ability to stand, walk, kneel and perform physically demanding and repetitive tasks for extended periods in a manufacturing environment Report to work as scheduled Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment Must be able to develop and maintain strong work relations with team Must have effective communication skills Works well as a productive and collaborative member of a fabrication team Excellent Organizational skills and attention to detail Willingness to work additional hours, including evenings and weekends, as production schedules or customer demand Must be able to build trust and promote a positive safety culture Must be able to life 75 lbs and hand physical demanding work Must be adaptable to changing field conditions and operational demands Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol screening, participate in the random testing pool and remain drug & alcohol free throughout employment Must pass a motor vehicle record check and background check Qualifications The requirements listed in this job description are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required and must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Work Environment This job operates within an IronWorks, Inc facility during normal or extended business hours. This job may require physical exertion, exposure to dust, noise and potential hazards associated within a manufacturing site. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. This position regularly requires long hours, after hours and weekend work as job duties demand. Licenses & Certifications Valid Driver's License Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent Experience operating forklift/skid steer preferred.
