As a Scaled Abuse Analyst, you are passionate about technologies and have experience analyzing data and scaled systems of review. You will be a key contributor and critical thinker with sound judgment regarding metrics, possessing a passion for coaching others, solving technological tests, and setting scalable standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience in data management, metrics analysis, experiment design and automation.
- Experience with classification systems, ranking systems, or similar.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in SQL, MySQL etc, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
- Experience in data analysis and statistical modeling.
- Experience with fraud and abuse dynamics in online platforms.
Responsibilities
- Apply advanced statistical methods to large, complex data sets to understand the impact of abuse on the YouTube ecosystem.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations for effective abuse prevention and enforcement.
- Learn complex and technical concepts and systems, and deliver meaningful results using them.
- Communicate technical results and methods clearly.
- Identify product vulnerabilities and abuse trends by performing investigations using various data sources.
- Contribute to the strategy and development of new workflows against additional known vectors of abuse.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders and partners in engineering, product, policy, and legal to drive complex anti-abuse solutions involving and impacting various cross-functional areas.
