Speech-Language Pathologist 2025–2026 School Year Ampersand Therapy is hiring a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2025–2026 school year in Wheeling, IL. Position Details Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday Location: In-person, Wheeling CCSD 21 School District, Wheeling, IL Start Date: FMLA leave, March through the end of school year in June Setting: K-5 elementary building (one building) Service Area: Speech evaluations, therapy, IEP development, documentation, and team collaboration Why Join Ampersand Therapy? Requirements

Illinois state SLP license
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement
Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
Experience in school or special education settings preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide treatment services
Complete IEPs and related documentation
Collaborate closely with special education teams
Manage assigned caseload (discussed during interview)
