About The Position

The City of Blair is now accepting applications for a Seasonal Assistant Pool Manager at the Blair Public Swimming Pool. What You'll Do:
Assist the Pool Manager with daily operations and supervision of pool staff. Enforce pool rules and ensure the safety of all patrons. Help train lifeguards, manage staff schedules, and respond to emergencies. Monitor water quality, assist with maintenance and cleanliness, and support programs, swim lessons, and special events. Handle customer service concerns, assist with cash handling, and maintain records and reports.

Requirements

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications required (or ability to obtain).
• Previous lifeguard experience required
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to stay calm in emergency situations and work outdoors in summer conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Leadership experience preferred.
