Security Ambassador Patrol
About The Position
As a Security Ambassador Patrol in West Hollywood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic municipal location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements
- Able to ride a bike.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a municipal location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with supervisors and/or local agencies as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter spaces to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and/or public activity to help support authorized entry and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations.
- Assist with routine reports, incident logs, and follow-up communication related to security-related events, customer service concerns, and/or location procedures.
