We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Security Analyst to join our growing cybersecurity team. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn and contribute across multiple domains including threat intelligence, security engineering, vulnerability management, governance, risk, compliance and privacy

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 0–3 years of experience in a security or IT support role
  • Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, PCI-DSS, SOX)
  • Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, and cloud environments
  • Strong analytical and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Security certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, or equivalent) are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Monitor threat feeds and alerts to identify emerging risks
  • Assist in analyzing indicators of compromise (IOCs) and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
  • Provide weekly KPI metrics with security leadership
  • Support the development of threat reports and briefings
  • Assist in configuring, creating policies, and maintaining security tools (e.g., SIEM, EDR, account provisioning, email security)
  • Support log ingestion, alert tuning, and rule creation
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement secure configurations and account provisioning
  • Perform vulnerability scans and assist in triage and remediation tracking
  • Maintain asset inventory and risk classification
  • Work with IT Ops and DevOps to validate patching and mitigation efforts within SLA timeframe
  • Support data classification and compliance assessments
  • Assist in monitoring data loss prevention (DLP) alerts
  • Work with privacy vendors on metric captures, roadmaps, and process improvement
  • Help ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
