You will perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with clear, professional communication. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on teamwork, acts with integrity, and delivers reliable, people-first service while supporting daily operations on site.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • A valid firearms permit is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site staff and visitors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response procedures at a government location.
  • Respond to alarms, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
  • Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and authorization, and documenting visitor and/or vehicle activity in accordance with site requirements.
  • Prepare clear reports and logs of security-related incidents, patrol activity, and policy violations, and coordinate with on-site personnel and responding public agencies as directed.
