As an Allied Universal officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points, document observations, and communicate clearly with team members and site contacts while delivering a customer-first experience. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
- X‐Ray Screening Experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
- Control access for employees, visitors, vendors and/or contractors, including verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials as directed and documenting entries and exits.
- Monitor docks, yards and/or trailer areas for unusual activity, assist with checking shipment paperwork as directed and report discrepancies, damaged property and/or unsecured doors or gates.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site contacts and/or emergency services when required and completing detailed incident reports.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
