As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service requests. You will document observations, communicate clearly with teams on site, and support a welcoming experience for drivers, associates, and visitors. Requirements

Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
Be 21+ years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor access control points and shipping and receiving traffic by verifying identification, logging visitors and/or contractors, checking badges, and directing deliveries to designated areas per site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with medical responses, fire alarms, and suspicious activity reporting per post orders.
Complete clear reports and documentation of patrols, incidents, and daily activities, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
