Job Description As a Security Guard - Unarmed Roving Patrol in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including common areas, building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns, and report findings through required logs and incident reports.
• Perform access control functions such as verifying credentials, directing visitors, and assisting with deliveries, while maintaining a professional presence aligned with site requirements.
