About The Position
As a Security Guard - Vehicle Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet employees and members, assist with questions and directions, and communicate observations clearly to site leadership. Requirements
- Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Possess a Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
- Have customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, including entrances, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter, documenting observations and reporting maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity, helping to reduce unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior through presence and communication.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public emergency services when directed.
- Complete routine reports such as shift logs, incident reports, and patrol activity records, using provided systems and following post orders.
