As an Armed Front Desk Officer at a financial institution location, you will welcome employees and visitors, verify credentials, manage access control, monitor security-related alarms and/or cameras, and document incidents with clear communication. Requirements

• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Control access to the location by greeting and screening visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing temporary badges, and directing guests to the proper areas.
• Monitor the lobby and front entry areas for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining a professional presence and promptly reporting concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, document incidents, and communicate shift activity and observations to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
