Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic individual to join our Facility Services team as a Security Guard that is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all residents, visitors, staff and protecting Community property. Responsible for verifying the scheduled presence of all employees and third-party contractors on the grounds. This full-time position with a starting pay of $16.00 per hour. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to read, write, perform basic arithmetic and speak effectively. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
Nice To Haves
- One-year experience in security preferred or appropriate building knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Makes scheduled rounds both inside and outside the buildings to maintain a secure environment for residents and their property as well as company property.
- Responds to all fire alarms and apartment emergency calls.
- Assist with appropriate snow shoveling as needed.
