About The Position

As a security manager, you will develop and implement efficient security strategies to safeguard our company assets. You will protect our company and maintain a secure work environment. We seek a highly skilled individual with a deep understanding of security strategies and a proven track record in managing security operations. Objectives of this role · Developing and implementing security strategies and policies to protect the company’s assets, employees and facilities. · Assessing potential risks and vulnerabilities, investigating security breaches and reinforcing appropriate measures to mitigate them. · Leading and managing a team of security personnel, including hiring, training and performance management. · Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of security requirements into business processes and projects. · Conducting regular security assessments, audits and inspections to identify gaps and areas for improvement. · Maintaining and updating emergency response plans, ensuring all employees know their roles and responsibilities. · Collaborating with law enforcement agencies and security vendors, to enhance security measures and respond to incidents. · Fostering a culture of security awareness and training employees on security protocols and procedures.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in security management, report writing with a strong understanding of security principles and practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of security technologies, incident management software and other security-related equipment, such as access control systems and CCTV surveillance.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement security policies, procedures and programs.
  • Proficiency in security assessments, audits and investigations.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse security team.
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying and mitigating security risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement extensive security plans, policies and procedures to protect personnel, assets and information.
  • Lead, train and supervise a team of security personnel, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Manage access control systems, surveillance equipment and other security technologies to ensure proper functioning and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, such as human resources and IT, to ensure compliance with security protocols and standards.
  • Investigate security breaches, incidents and violations, document findings and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external partners, such as law enforcement agencies and security vendors, to enhance security capabilities.
  • Educate employees on security awareness, policies and procedures through training programs and communication initiatives.
  • Stay informed about the latest security technologies, trends and regulatory requirements and make recommendations for enhancements to the security program.
