As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a tech, media, and/or telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter incidents. You will respond to security-related concerns, support access screening as needed, and deliver strong customer service through clear communication. Requirements
- Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
- Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and post orders at a tech-focused office or facility location.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify identification and/or credentials as required, manage visitor sign-in, and direct guests, vendors, and deliveries to appropriate areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or emergency responders when needed.
- Complete detailed reports and logs for shift activity, patrol findings, incidents, and maintenance concerns, and communicate timely updates to supervisors and oncoming personnel.
