Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location where you will support access control by greeting employees and visitors, checking credentials, managing visitor sign-in, and monitoring entry points. You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly with site leaders and coworkers. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, badge requirements, and visitor management processes at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or authorization, issue temporary credentials when directed, and document access activity using logs and/or electronic systems.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting unusual activity, assisting with emergency response activities, and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Support shipping and receiving access by directing drivers to designated check-in areas, confirming appointments and/or work orders when applicable, and helping to maintain orderly traffic flow at gates and dock areas.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help identify potential security-related concerns, hazards, and policy violations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
