You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service while providing strong customer service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, tenants, contractors, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.
• Control access by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing keys and/or access cards as assigned, and verifying contractor work authorizations.
• Complete detailed reports and log entries for patrols, access activity, and unusual events, and communicate status updates to site leadership and/or the monitoring center.
