As an Access Control Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue and track badges, and monitor activity to support a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with team members and visitors. Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2 years of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific access procedures, and security-related policies at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification, processing sign-in and/or sign-out, issuing temporary credentials as directed, and directing authorized personnel to the correct areas.
• Monitor alarms, door status, and CCTV as assigned, and document unusual activity to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building entrances, docks, staging areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter theft, tampering, and/or unauthorized access, and complete required reports.
