You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce incidents, and document activity using site technology. Requirements

• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, employees, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Staff access control points to help manage entry and exit, verify identification and/or credentials, issue visitor badges, and direct deliveries to the proper check-in process.
• Monitor and document vehicle and pedestrian traffic, review shipping and receiving paperwork as required by post orders, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services per established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including checking doors, gates, and restricted areas. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
