Requirements

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to control access to restricted areas in accordance with site policies.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant details through established channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
Support staff, visitors, and/or vendors with directions, access questions, and site protocol guidance while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns.
