Job Description As a Airport Traffic Control Officer in Honolulu, HI , you will serve and safeguard the airport, its facilities, travelers, directing and managing flow of traffic, enforcing security protocals and procedures helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. Your presence and routine patrols will support a secure environment while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Full Time - Morning Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee. Requirements

20+ Years of Age
Valid Drivers License
Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
Have customer service experience, preferred.
Have a guard card and/or license, preferred.
Be able to lift more than 20 lbs, preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to all visitors and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a government facility setting.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site representatives and/or local first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, access points, parking areas, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and credentialed access points, verifying authorization as required and documenting unusual activity per post orders.
Complete routine reports and shift documentation, including incident logs and patrol activity records, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.
