As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a professional site experience for tenants and visitors. You will complete routine rounds, observe and report unusual activity, and communicate clearly with site contacts. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, vendors, visitors, and/or staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and security-related systems such as CCTV, alarms, and/or access control, and complete visitor management and credential verification per site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, fire and/or alarm activations, suspicious activity, and tenant concerns, and coordinate notifications to site contacts and public responders as required.
• Prepare clear, timely reports and logs including patrol observations, incident documentation, and shift activity summaries, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnover.
