About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Secret Clearance Site in Seal Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a current armed guard card and/or license.
Provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report access concerns involving employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries.
Support security-related operations by observing for policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or potential hazards, then reporting findings according to post orders and site procedures.
