You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service calls with calm, clear communication. You will write detailed reports, support access control, and deliver customer service with integrity. You will be part of a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first.

Requirements

  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or have a college degree.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Carry and maintain required firearm and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies and post orders; maintain professional presence and clear communication with staff and visitors.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, suspicious activity, access concerns and medical emergencies; coordinate with law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, ATM or vestibule areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
  • Complete required patrol logs, incident reports and shift documentation; report maintenance hazards, access control issues and/or policy violations through approved channels.
