As an Armed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced healthcare location, you will conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and calm communication. You will support staff, patients, and visitors through strong customer service while documenting observations and escalating issues as needed. Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2 plus years of security-related experience.
• Have an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 plus years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be able to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter, completing regular and random rounds as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical emergencies, and suspicious activity, and communicate updates to appropriate personnel.
• Control access to restricted areas as directed, verifying credentials and/or authorizations and directing individuals to the proper department or check-in point.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, document patrol observations and incident details, and notify Allied Universal leadership and/or site management of notable conditions.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
