As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, professional communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and staff at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, and/or suspicious activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal and site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points, checking doors, access points, and restricted areas for unusual conditions.
• Control access to the facility by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and directing visitors and/or vendors according to site procedures.
• Operate security-related equipment such as radios and monitoring systems, maintain required logs and reports, and communicate timely updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
