Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Mobile Driver Patrol in New Orleans, LA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed, driving patrol officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and customer concerns with clear communication and professionalism. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including common areas, parking areas, loading and service areas, and perimeter points, with working environments and conditions varying by location. Control access by monitoring entrances, responding to access requests, and checking identification and/or credentials in accordance with site-specific requirements. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting evacuations, medical response coordination, and/or contacting local emergency services as directed by post orders. Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate site conditions and unusual activity to Allied Universal leadership and/or client representatives. Minimum Requirements: An Armed Guard Card/License is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
