Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Rover in Brockton, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and concerns with calm, professional communication. You will support customers and staff with clear directions and service-minded interaction, while living our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, putting people first through teamwork and integrity. Candidate will cover locations in the South Shore Area. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $27.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM Thur 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM Fri 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM Sat 08:45 AM - 02:15 PM

Requirements

Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
Carry and maintain assigned firearms and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal policies.
Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations and concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
