You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and customer concerns with clear communication and professionalism. You will document observations, follow site procedures, and partner with teammates and leaders who act with integrity in a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative culture.

Requirements

• Have 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Maintain a visible armed presence and conduct regular and random patrols of the facility interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear directions to staff and visitors and coordinating with law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
• Control access to restricted areas, monitor visitor and vendor entry, and verify identification and/or authorization in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate observed concerns promptly to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
