About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Rover Driver in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed, driving Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents through a highly visible presence, and respond to alarms and service calls with calm professionalism. You will document observations, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and deliver a welcoming customer experience. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Carry and maintain assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, post orders, and/or company policies; participate in required training and qualification activities.
• Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with site leadership and public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, ATM areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and/or access control documentation; monitor surveillance systems and support client operations by reporting unusual conditions.
