As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a busy healthcare location, you will welcome staff, patients, and visitors, support check-in processes, and help verify access with professionalism and care. You will monitor activity at the entrance, use site systems to document security-related incidents and/or requests, and communicate clearly with the care team. Requirements

  • Security Experience ‐ 2+ Years is required.
  • Client Requires Proof of HS Diploma/GED is required.
  • 21+ Years of Age is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Guard Card/License is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies within a healthcare location.
  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff; verify access as directed, issue visitor credentials, and maintain access and/or visitor logs.
  • Monitor entry points, cameras, alarms, and communication systems from the desk; report irregular activity and maintenance concerns per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Complete required documentation such as incident reports, shift logs, and handoff notes; communicate clearly with Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
