About The Position

As a Security Officer Badge Verification in North Chesterfield, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or visitor authorization, maintain access logs, and report discrepancies or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including perimeter areas and restricted access points, to help to deter unauthorized entry and observe conditions that may require attention.
