Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Control access to the location by greeting and screening visitors, issuing visitor credentials when authorized, and directing guests to the appropriate contacts and areas.
  • Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems such as cameras and alarms as assigned, and report irregular activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating site notifications and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
  • Complete required reports and logs, document incidents and service requests, and communicate key information during shift change and/or as directed by site leadership.
