About The Position

As a Security Officer - Commercial Dispatch Specialist in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor alarm panels, manage access control systems, and coordinate security-related communications to help to deter incidents. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Monitor and manage access control systems, communications, and alarms from the dispatch station within a commercial real estate location.
Coordinate responses to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with on-site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Maintain communication with security personnel on patrol and provide support or direction as required.
Assist with the implementation of emergency response protocols and communicate important information to relevant parties during incidents.
Support regular and random patrols by maintaining awareness of personnel locations and activity throughout the property.
