As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet tenants and visitors, assist with questions and directions, document observations, and communicate concerns to the team. Requirements

• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, alarms, disturbances, and/or property damage.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the commercial office property, including common areas, lobbies, stairwells, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, including verifying identification as required, issuing visitor passes, and directing guests to appropriate destinations.
• Complete shift logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate key updates to property management and/or building staff during shift transitions.
