About The Position

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor phones, radios, alarms, cameras, and other communication systems to receive calls for service, document details, and dispatch appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Respond to incidents, maintenance-related concerns, and critical situations by gathering information, prioritizing requests, and coordinating timely communication with onsite teams, building management, and/or first responders.
  • Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and activity records, helping to support daily operations and security-related awareness throughout the location.
  • Observe site activity from the dispatch area and communicate unusual conditions, access concerns, and after-hours issues to appropriate personnel, helping to support established property procedures.
