Job Description As a Security Officer - Community Driver Patrol in Granville, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will drive and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and responders, and deliver customer service with professionalism. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
  • Support access control at entrances, gates, and/or shipping and receiving areas by checking credentials, logging visitor and vendor activity, and directing traffic according to location procedures.
  • Complete detailed reports and documentation of patrol activity, incidents, and observations, and monitor security-related alarms and/or camera systems when assigned.
