As an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet staff and visitors, communicate clearly, and respond to concerns with professionalism. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor lobby and transaction areas for unusual activity, assist with orderly queue flow, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas such as vault corridors, cash handling spaces, and staff-only zones.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or local emergency services as needed.
  • Complete required documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity notes, and communicate relevant observations to oncoming personnel and/or supervisors.
