About The Position

As a Security Officer - Concierge Driver Guard Overnights in Bothell, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome employees and visitors, manage access, verify identification, answer phones, and support security-related procedures with clear communication and strong customer service. You will use a computer and/or tablet to document activity and assist with incident reporting, representing Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to building occupants and guests by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Operate the front desk by greeting and screening visitors, verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, and directing guests to appropriate destinations while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control panels, and report unusual activity according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Complete required documentation such as incident reports, visitor logs, key control logs, and shift activity reports, and communicate pertinent information during shift turnover.
