You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to resident questions with outstanding customer service. Through clear communication, detailed reporting, and teamwork, you will help maintain a welcoming environment while acting with integrity. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential common areas, building exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity; verify credentials and/or visitor purpose in accordance with post orders and community rules.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with property management, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, including patrol observations, incidents, and follow-up actions; use required communication devices and systems as directed.
