As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a government transportation location, you will monitor activity, manage radios and phones, coordinate security-related responses, and document incidents with clear, professional communication. You will help keep operations running smoothly by supporting field personnel, assisting visitors and staff, and maintaining a strong visible presence through the dispatch function. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
  • CPR Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and staff by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response procedures at a government transportation location.
  • Monitor radio traffic, alarms, CCTV, and/or other communications systems; dispatch appropriate personnel and resources according to established protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating notifications to designated contacts and public responders as directed.
  • Complete incident reports, dispatch logs, and shift documentation, including tracking calls for service and maintaining chain-of-custody for security-related records when required.
  • Support access control and visitor management processes by coordinating after-hours requests, verifying authorizations, and communicating instructions to on-site personnel.
